Poplyd: Siri Nilsen with cello band
@ Loftet, Reine Rorbuer
Tickets: NOK 250,-/175,-/50,- (+ service fee)
We prestart this year’s festival on a brand new venue in Cellolyd history! “Loftet” has been our rehearsal premises the last years, but this is the first time we invite the audience into this intimate hall. Siri Nilsen is a well renowned Norwegian singer/songwriter, celebrated by critics, musicians and writers as well as the audience. In 2014 she released her third album, Skyggebokser, which earned her a Norwegian Grammy. Siri is on tour with her trusted band this summer, but at Cellolyd of course cellos replace the traditional band instruments! As a member of both the Cellolyd ensemble and Siri’s band, it is Kaja Fjellberg Pettersen who has made all the arrangements for cello sextet.
With: Siri Nilsen, Kaja Fjellberg Pettersen, Kristine Solberg, Liv Opdal, Tove Margrethe Erikstad, Einar Halle, og Lisa Isabel Holstad.
